Participants review the required knowledge, skills, and attitudes to be effective counselors. In addition, participants will examine the etiology, assessment and treatment of substance use disorders. Participants also examine ethical and multicultural issues, trauma and informed care and clinician self-care.
This course is 100% online and Self Paced. Students are expected to complete the course within the scheduled course dates. Students will access the course via the MSU Denver Canvas platform.
