Advanced Manufacturing and Workplace Preparation

The student will learn the 'soft skills' required by industry, such as leadership, interactive communication, and collaboration/teamwork skills, utilizing team exercises and team activities. The course also provides an introduction to Advanced Manufacturing and an overview of the Advanced Manufacturing Sciences (AMS) degree concentration's fit and associated employment potential with Advanced Manufacturing Industries.
